Breakthrough New York is pleased to welcome Drew Phillips to its Board of Directors. This brings the number of board members to 23.

“Drew’s passion for our 10-year commitment to students combined with his extensive previous board leadership experience make him a strong new addition to our board,” said executive director, Beth E. Onofry.

Drew Phillips is a Partner and the Chief Operating Officer of Atalaya Capital Management, a private credit and special opportunities investment manager. Prior to joining Atalaya, Drew has been in a management role at Bridgewater Associates as well as spending multiple years at each of The Rohatyn Group and the law firm Cadwalader, Wickersham & Taft. Drew earned his BA degree in Economics from Columbia University, his JD from Georgetown University Law Center and is currently on the Board of Directors of the Children’s Cancer and Blood Foundation and Talespin, a virtual, augmented, and mixed reality company designed to power knowledge transfer and skill alignment for the future of employment.
