Manager, Institutional Giving
Reporting directly to the Chief Development Officer (CDO), the Manager, Institutional Giving will join a small but dynamic team to help raise more than $3.5 million annually from individuals, events, foundations, and corporations. corporate sponsors to support the organization’s mission. This position is responsible for identifying new revenue streams from institutional partners and grant opportunities. As a skilled communicator and project manager, they will work closely with the CDO to set and meet ambitious annual institutional giving goals, manage and grow existing foundation and corporate funding, identify and pursue new funding opportunities, and build the overall institutional giving portfolio.

Every year I’ve been with Breakthrough has just been more and more rewarding, especially with the 12th graders and helping them get into colleges. One of my mentees actually applied Early Decision to one of the other Claremont colleges and that was because I talked to her about the school and she fell in love with it. I was able to provide that insider perspective.
