Since 2021, Campbell Lutyens has been an invaluable partner to Breakthrough New York with the firm dedicating time and resources to support Breakthrough students on their journeys to and through college. This partnership has grown stronger over the years, with Campbell Lutyens providing hands-on support through various programs and initiatives.
Their team has been deeply involved in BTNY’s work, hosting students for Career Day each summer and leading career panels that give students valuable insights into the finance world. Campbell Lutyens employees have also volunteered as college access mentors, guiding students through the college application process, and lent their time to help with admissions day interviews. In September 2024, Campbell Lutyens further innovated in their support by hosting a virtual seminar focused on internships, equipping students with practical advice to jumpstart their careers.
Most recently, Campbell Lutyens launched an exclusive externship program for BTNY students, spearheaded by Samantha Longlade, who joined BTNY’s Associates Board last year. In January 2025, two BTNY college students, Steven Mercedes (Class of 2027) and Mansia Momo (Class of 2027) participated in this new program, gaining real-world experience and a closer look at the firm’s work. Offering thoughts on his experience, Steven shared:
